HashProbe is our own hardware and firmware. If you run a board we don't support yet, or you need a specific test, we can add it. Send us the board or a signal capture of it, and we'll work it into a signed firmware update that reaches every device over the air.
No. HashProbe talks to the hashboard directly and has its own screen plus a Wi-Fi web UI. A laptop is optional.

The device checks for signed firmware and installs it itself over the air. Update checking is never gated by your licence, so your tester keeps gaining boards and fixes. See Downloads.
